Due to the special quarantine regime introduced in order to prevent the mass distribution of COVID-19 infection, active measures continue to monitor compliance with quarantine patients with coronavirus.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, employees of the internal affairs bodies on April 7 in the republic were revealed and detained in public places 15 patients with coronavirus.
Police officers held an explanatory conversation with detained citizens, returned them home in compliance with medical procedures and informed the relevant health authorities.
For 5 people, a criminal case was initiated under Article 139-1.1 (violation of anti-epidemic and quarantine regimes) of the Criminal Code. Currently, investigative actions continue.
