Constantly expanding the network coverage range by country, NAR began to provide its network services in liberated regions. Basic stations with 2G, 3G and 4G technologies have already been launched in the village of Gadrut KhojaVan District and Jebrail district.
Note that to ensure the liberated territories of the modern and permanent network infrastructure, NAR continues to install base stations in Shushe within the “Karabakh Plan”.
In an effort to ensure the population with high-quality Internet, NAR in the first quarter of 2021 installed more than 50 new base stations. Thus, the mobile operator provides the population of the country uninterrupted Internet with more than 5,670 base stations.
It should be noted that, compared to the first quarter of last year, the amount of data traffic transmitted using LTE-A technology increased by 22% for the same period of this year. Currently, about 82% of the entire Internet in the network is provided through base stations with LTE-A technology.
Note that the NAR Internet network covers 89% of the country’s territory and 99.9% of the country’s population.
On the days of the Patriotic War, Nar provided communication on the liberated territories through mobile base stations.
