The Supreme Court of Crimea appointed the supporters of the Medzhlis organization Nariman Jelyalov and the Akhtemov brothers from 13 to 17 years in prison for undermining the gas pipeline under Simferopol, Russian media reports.
according to the prosecution, in 2021 an organized criminal group was created to commit a sabotage in the Crimea, which voluntarily included the former functionary of the Medzhlis organization of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzhelalov, as well as Asan Akhtemov. The purpose of the sabotage was chosen by the Krymgazeset gas pipeline in the village of Perevalny under Simferopol.
The defendants did not admit their guilt at the hearing, but their guilt was confirmed by a set of evidence under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Thus, Nariman Dzhelalov was sentenced to 17 years in prison in a maximum security colony and a fine of 700 thousand rubles. Asan Akhtemov received 15 years in a maximum security colony with a fine of 500 thousand rubles, Aziz Akhtemov – 13 years of a maximum security colony and a fine of 500 thousand rubles.
Recall that the gas pipeline in the Crimean village of Perevalnoy was undermined in August 2021. Two weeks later, on suspicion of performing a sabotage of the FSB of Russia, Crimean Nariman Dzhelyalov, as well as the Brothers Asan and Aziz Akhtemovs, detained the Crimeans of Russia.
