NASA helicopter successfully landed on Mars

Marshow NASA lowered the Ingenuity mini-helicopter (“ingenuity”) to the surface of the Red Planet as part of preparation for his first flight, the American Space Agency was reported on Twitter.

Ultra-easy aircraft was fixed under the bottom of the Perseverance Marshode (“perseverance”), which landed on Mars February 18.

A picture illustrating tweet shows that the rover drove away from the helicopter and his “airfield” after its unloading to the surface.

Previously the helicopter was fed from the Marshode power system, but now it will have to rely on its own battery for the heater, which is necessary to protect electrical components from freezing and cracking during cold Martian nights.
