NASA plans to land a woman on moon

The American space agency NASA plans to land the first woman on the moon within the next ten years. This was reported by the CBS News TV channel.

The mission is planned within the framework of the Artemis program (“Artemis”). It will be attended by nine men and nine women. It is noted that the implementation of the program is delayed due to cost overruns.

As the head of NASA space launches Charlie Blackwell-Thompson said, a return to the study of the moon will provide a variety of valuable knowledge and many scientific discoveries.

“We still have a lot to learn. We’re still learning from the samples that were returned during the Apollo program,” Blackwell-Thompson said.
