Astronauts stuck in orbit

Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore were sent to the ISS on June 5, 2024 on the new Boeing Starliner spacecraft for a weekly test flight. However, due to the technical malfunction, the return of the astronauts was postponed, and NASA ordered the capsule to return to the ground without a crew.

Now, due to the delay in the launch of the SpaceX spare capsule, the return of astronauts is expected no earlier than the end of March or early April.

Thus, their stay in orbit can drag out up to 10 months.
