NASA reported exit of Cygnus spacecraft to orbit

Cygnus cargo spacecraft Northrop Grumman, which started the International Space Station (ISS), successfully entered the orbit, the US National Directorate for Aeronautics and Space Research (NASA) reported.

The launch was carried out using the Antares launch vehicle on Tuesday at 20:31 on the time of the east coast of the United States from the NASA cosmodrome Wallops, located off the Atlantic coast of Virginia.

The joining of the Cygnus ship with the ISS is scheduled for August 4.

It will be carried out by capturing the Canadarm-2 Remove-Remanding Remanding Remand with the Truck’s Station and the subsequent joining of it to the American Unity Module.

Cygnus should deliver more than 3.7 tons of cargo to the ISS, including food, as well as equipment and materials for tens of scientific research.
