ex-head of the executive branch of the Granboy district (1992-1993), the national hero of Azerbaijan (1992), a participant in the First Karabakh war, Mashallah Abdullaev, passed away at the age of 72.
In 1992, M. Abdullaev was appointed deputy brigade commander under the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. He showed courage during the liberation of Geranbo and Agerer from the Armenian invaders.
After the First Karabakh war, M. Abdullaev became chairman of the local council of war veterans, labor and the armed forces. For courage, he was awarded the Prize named after General Muhammad Asadov and the medal “100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan People’s Republic (1918-1920)”.
M. Abdullaev, suffering from cancer for a long time, was operated on and hospitalized in the national oncocenter.
