NATO declared reason for increase in forces near borders of Russia

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the Alliance does not consider himself part of the conflict in Ukraine, but only provides military assistance to Kyiv, Ukrainian media write.

“Help of Ukraine does not mean participation in the conflict,” Stoltenberg emphasized.

NATO Secretary General once again emphasized that the Alliance is not part of the conflict in Ukraine. At the same time, he called on NATO countries to strengthen military assistance to Ukraine.

According to Stoltenberg, the buildup of the alliance for the borders of the Russian Federation “is aimed at preventing the conflict with it.”

He also emphasized that he believes in the use of Moscow nuclear weapons, but called for “serious about these threats.”
