The defense ministers of NATO countries gathered in Brussels to discuss Ukraine’s support and strengthen the alliance.
At the opening of a meeting at the NATO headquarters, the Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, said that the issues of continuing support for Ukraine, strengthening the deterrence and safety of NATO will be discussed in accordance with the decisions adopted at the Vilnius summit last year, as well as an increase in defense costs .

Turkey at the meeting is represented by the Minister of National Defense Yashar Guler.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was not present at the meeting for health reasons, his place was taken by the US Constant Republic of Julianna Smith at NATO.
Following the meeting of the Ministers of Defense, the Council of NATO-Ukraine will gather. In this meeting, invited to NATO Sweden will also take part.
