NATO do not see changes in Putin’s plans

Russia intends to continue hostilities in Ukraine and in the West does not see Moscow’s desire for peace, said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

According to Stoltenberg, Koedor RBC cites, no one can say when the war in Ukraine ends, but, in his opinion, Russian President Vladimir Putin can put an end to what is happening “today.”

“But the problem is that we do not see any signs that President Putin and the authorities in Moscow are preparing for the world,” Stoltenberg said.

In NATO they see the opposite, namely, the preparation of Russia for the continuation of hostilities, mobilization, acquisition of new weapons and build -up its own production, said the general secretary of the alliance: “And most importantly, we do not see any signs that President Putin changed his common goal this invasion, which is to control the neighbor, control Ukraine. “

Not all, but many wars soon or later end at the negotiating table, and most likely it will be in the case of Ukraine, but what is happening at this table is inextricably linked and completely dependent on the situation on the battlefield, Stoltenberg said.

“Military support today allows you to reach a peace agreement tomorrow,” he said.
