The NATO exercise Furious Wolf, in which ground-based aviation spotters and NATO aircraft crews are participating, has begun in Estonia, the Estonian Defense Forces headquarters said on Thursday.
Exercise Furious Wolf, which takes place in the Baltic countries twice a year, is specially designed to integrate air and ground operations.
The exercises are held both in Lithuania, at the Siauliai airbase, and in Estonia, in the military town of Tapa and the vicinity of the town of Rakvere.
“On Thursday in Rakvere, the aviation spotters worked together with the crews of the Italian Air Force fighters, which took off from the Siauliai airbase.
