NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called on China to stop Russia’s support, noting that Beijing’s help is an important factor in the continuation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
“China has become key” in the Russian war against Ukraine, “Stoltenberg said in the capital of Norway Oslo.
Stoltenberg noted that China is a country that produces many types of weapons used by Russia. He warned that “the support of war in Ukraine can negatively affect its interests and reputation.”
China was first designated as an element of a “systematic call” in the new NATO strategic concept, adopted at the summit in Madrid in 2022.
