NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called on once and for all showing Russia the boundaries of the permitted one. The statements of the Secretary General are given by Deutsche Welle.
“We cannot allow Russia to immediately undermine European security. NATO must break the cycle of Russian aggression and make sure that history does not repeat,” Stoltenberg said at the summit of the Eastern European countries of NATO in Warsaw on Wednesday, February 22.
NATO Secretary General recalled that before the start of the war against Ukraine, Russia attacked Georgia in 2008 in 2008, in 2014 annexed Crimea and began to support the Donbass separatists.
“We are witnesses of the most aggressive behavior of Russia over many years. A year after the start of Russian aggression against Ukraine, no signs are visible that Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing for the world,” Stoltenberg said.
