NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called the fact that Ukrainian forces were able to free most of the country’s territory captured by Russia. Reuters reports that Stoltenberg’s statement was heard after the order of the Minister of Defense of Russia Shoigu to leave Kherson.
“Victories and achievements of the Ukrainian armed forces take place thanks to the courage and courage of Ukrainian soldiers, but, of course, the support that they receive from the UK, from allies and partners in NATO is just as important,” said Stoltenberg.
Answering the question of journalists about the retreat of the Russian troops of Kherson, Stoltenberg said that Russia has completely lost the offensive initiative. “However, we should not underestimate Russia: they still have opportunities,” the NATO Secretary General emphasized. “We saw the attacks of drones, we saw missile attacks. This suggests that Russia can still cause great damage.”
