NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Monday (14 June 2021) thanked Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez for offering to host the 2022 NATO Summit in Spain.
“It is a great opportunity to mark the fortieth anniversary of your membership” said the Secretary General. “At our summit in Spain next year, NATO leaders will make important decisions about the future of our Alliance” the Secretary General said at the end of the 2021 NATO Summit.
