Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Riga on Tuesday (30 November 2021), ahead of meetings of NATO Foreign Ministers.
Mr Stoltenberg thanked Secretary Blinken for his leadership and the US’ commitment to the Alliance. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Foreign Ministers will address a range of issues, including Ukraine, Belarus, arms control, and lessons learned from NATO’s engagement in Afghanistan.
