NATO will help Ukraine defend itself from Russia “as much as it takes,” said the Secretary General of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg, writes The Washington Post.
According to Stoltenberg, members of the security organization from 30 countries deliver fuel, generators, medicines, winter equipment and devices for suppressing drones.
Alliance Secretary General noted that the approach of winter will need much more help, especially in connection with the attack of Russia on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
“NATO will continue to support Ukraine as much as it takes. We will not retreat. The allies provide unprecedented military support, and I expect that foreign ministers will also agree to strengthen non -lethal support. Most wars end in negotiations. What is happening at the negotiating table depends on what is happening on the battlefield. Therefore, the best way to increase the chances of a peaceful decision is to support Ukraine, ”Stoltenberg emphasized.
