On the eve of the Turkish city of Izmir, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General General Safar Mehtyyev and Deputy Minister of Commerce, Head of the Customs Administration of Turkey, a sharp Tunaya Touriam. The meeting took place as part of the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Turkey.
The recent Tong Turagay highly appreciated the current state of economic, political, cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Turkey, noting that there are ample opportunities for further deepening these ties.
Noting that in economic relations to customs authorities, important tasks are also imposed, the recent Tong Turagay spoke about the prospects for further strengthening mutual cooperation between the relevant structures of the two countries.
Turagai handed over to the Azerbaijani people congratulations on the occasion of victory in the Patriotic War. The Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Safar Mehtiev, noted with satisfaction the strategic partnerships between Turkey and Azerbaijan, based on historical traditions, and noted that the targeted policy, conducted by the heads of the states of the two countries, plays an important role in strengthening links in all areas.
Expressing the Turkish state and the people for support during the 44-day Patriotic War, Safar Mehtiyev stressed that today Turkish-Azerbaijani friendship, the brotherhood is at the highest level. The Chairman of the Committee noted that this cooperation plays an important role in improving the welfare of not only the peoples of the two countries, but also countries of the region, restoration of the world.
Safar Mehdiyev informed about the achievements achieved under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in the country, both in all areas and in the economy, including the innovations used in the Customs Service.
