Vice-Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, who is visited in Iran, met today with Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossaine Amir Abdollahian.
Iranian media reports that during the meeting, the parties discussed events in the Caucasus, as well as bilateral cooperation.
IRI Foreign Minister announced the readiness of Iranian companies to participate in the restoration of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, there was also the need to increase efforts and conduct meetings for sustainable development between the two countries of trade and economic relations, cooperation in the oil and gas sphere, tourist, in the field of transport, energy, transit, joint industrial and investment projects, information and communications technologies , agriculture, humanitarian and other spheres.
The parties also exchanged views in the situation in the region and other issues of mutual interest.
Shahin Mustafayev expressed satisfaction with the meetings with ministers of oil, roads and urbanitions of the Islamic Republic of Iran today in Tehran. He also announced that at the beginning of next year a meeting will be held by the Joint Azerbaijan-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation
