Ex-Prime Minister of Israel, now the leader of the opposition Benjamin Netanyahu accused the Prime Minister Yair Lapid of a “complete refusal” from a public struggle against negotiations on the resumption of the deal with Iran, reports The Times of Israel.
According to him, last year Lapid and Minister of Defense Benny Ganz completely abandoned the public struggle against a nuclear deal with Iran.
“For 12 years, we resolutely fought for this deal and even forced the United States to get out of it. But during the only year of our stay in power, Lapid and Hanz weakened the vigilance and allowed the United States and Iran to conclude a nuclear deal that jeopardizes our future “, – said the ex -head of the government.
He also accused Lapid that he could not publicly challenge these efforts in the Congress, at the UN or foreign media, and “woke up too late” after significant progress was achieved in the negotiations.
