Netanyahu declared his main goal: to stop Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the main goals of his new government, one of which is the stop of Iran’s nuclear program, reports The Times of Israel.

According to the publication, speaking in the Knesset (Israeli Parliament – Ed.), Netanyahu called the main goals of his government the stop of the Israeli nuclear program, the development of state infrastructure, which will connect the outskirts with the center of the country, and the restoration of the internal security of Israel.

The prime minister also noted that his government will fight the growing cost of life and improve education in the country. Netanyahu promised to make Israel a strong and prosperous “world power.”

Earlier on Thursday, December 29, Knesset by a majority vote approved the composition of the new government of Netanyahu. Netanyahu headed the Israeli government for the sixth time. He held this position longer than all other politicians in the history of Israel – 15 years and 3 months.
