Commission of Ministers on Community Safety Service (Shabak) rejected the request of the Netanyahu family to delay the removal of its protection, and it will be removed tomorrow, on December 13, reports “details”.
The meeting of the Committee was held at the request of the head of the Office of Netanyahu Ashetor Khayun, who reported on the wave of threats regarding the Family Ex-Prime Minister.
According to the information, the professional opinion of the Shabak, presented at the meeting, remained the same: the protection of the family members of the former prime minister is laid within six months after the expiration of its term.
All security structures – Shabak, Mossad, Police and National Security Council – have not seen reasons for extending the provision of protection.
Also, sources in the Commission stated that the security unit in the office of the Prime Minister did not provide a different position during the discussion, contrary to the statements of Netanyahu’s associates that, in the opinion of this unit, the protection must be left.
