Mikhalko handed the Azerbaijani Minister a copy of the credential certificate.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for fruitful cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan, preparation for the upcoming summit meetings within the framework of the Eastern Partnership program, about the planned to sign a bilateral agreement. The minister discussed with ambassador and implementation of projects in the field of energy security;
Peter Mikhalko emphasized that Azerbaijan is an important partner for the European Union and he, as a new ambassador, will make every effort to develop these relationships in all areas.
