The next administration of the Philippines will take a neutral position in the war between Russia and Ukraine. This was stated by the new national security adviser Clarita Carlos, reports TASS.
“We will take a neutral position. This is what we did from the very beginning, and we have a strong relationship with Russia. Russia can supply us with so necessary oil and gas,” Carlos noted, adding that she would not advise the new president Ferdinanda Markos Jr. join anti-Russian sanctions.
Ferdinand Marcos Jr. won the Presidential elections in the Philippines on May 9.
