On Monday, August 22, the Antonov bridge in the Kherson region was again attacked. The Armed Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed new blows on the bridge.
“Antonovsky bridge is one of the transport areas that Russians are trying to reanimate, but realizing that this design cannot be poured by a bucket of concrete, it requires a sufficiently significant repair and technological processes. That is why we keep under our presence remotely” , – said the head of the press center of the operational command “South” Natalya Gumenyuk, which is quoted by the Ukrainian media.
She also noted that the Russians will not be able to restore the Antonov bridge.
The Russian media, meanwhile, stated that it “worked on the air defense system” that “air defense equipment worked for several minutes at least 10 times.”
