New EU sanctions hit export of fertilizers in Belarus

The European Union imposed new sanctions against Belarusian companies and individuals. The “black” list included the chief potassium fertilizer export “Belaruskali”, the Belarusian potassium company (BKK) and one of the two oil refineries of the country “Naftan”, writes TASS with reference to the document.

Thus, the EU hit the main export industry of the country and the main source of foreign currency.

In addition, sanctions were introduced against the manufacturer of public electric vehicles “Belokmunmash”, the tobacco company Inter Tobacco, the Grodno tobacco factory “Neman”, the largest in Belarus of the Logistic operator “Beltamozhservis” and others.
