Government sites in Ukraine on Wednesday, February 23, were subjected to kiberatak – MFA, SBU, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Defense, and Verkhovna Rada, were fully or partially ceased, Korrespondent.net reports.
New kiberatka began after 15:00. At the moment, the site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not work, as well as the difficulties of the Ministry of Defense, SBU and the Verkhovna Rada work with difficulties. With interruptions, the site of the Ministry of Internal Affairs works and the Cabinet website does not work at all.
In addition, the speaker Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk declared a kiberatka on his family – in particular, hackers tried to hack their bank cards and accounts.
“followed the active attempts to break the accounts of my whole family, block bank cards, as well as other cyberatics,” wrote Stefanchuk in Facebook, adding that the entrance to the pages was planned from the city of Mytischi, Moscow region, Russia.
In this regard, the speaker of the parliament urged his subscribers to adhere to cybergigienne and not trust with random reports.
“Do not forget to change passwords, two-factor identification and other information security measures,” said Stefanchuk.
Finally, the head of the Ministry of Media Mikhail Fedorov responded to the incident.
