New Zealand on Friday added six individuals and 17 organizations of the Russian Federation and Belarus in connection with Ukraine in sanctions lists, the country’s Foreign Ministry reports.
“We are imposing sanctions against six people and 17 structures for the provision of materials and for the strategic support of Russia in its actions in Ukraine,” the department said on the website of the department.
, in particular, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova, the Commissioner for the Rights of the Child in the Moscow Region Ksenia Mishonova and other persons, got into the sanctions lists.
The sanctions were also imposed against the enterprise for the development and production of semiconductor devices of Proton-Electrotex JSC, PJSC Electric Discover.
“These sanctions affect 14 people and structures of the Russian military -industrial complex. They develop, produce or supply weapons, electronic components and technologies (such as microelectronics and semiconductors) used by Russia,” the statement said.
Six financial institutions of Belarus also fell under the sanctions, including banks – the Bank of Development of the Republic of Belarus, Bank Dabibabyt, Belinvestbank.
