Nigeria: 140 Terrorists And Members Of Armed Gangs Were Liquidated In Week

In Nigeria during operations against the Boko Haram terrorist organizations and ISWAP (West African branch of the Deaash terrorist organization), and 140 people were neutralized in a week.

This was announced by the head of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Nigeria Edward Buba at a weekly press conference on the fight against growing security problems in the country.

Buba noted that in different regions of the country, operations were carried out against terrorist organizations and armed gangs.

According to him, during the operations, 140 terrorists and members of gangs were killed, and another 135 people were detained.

Buba also said that during the operations 76 people were released previously stolen for the purpose of ransom.

Recently, Nigeria has been faced with numerous attacks by armed gangs, as well as the Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorist groups (West African branch of the Deoash terrorist organization).
