The Nigerian army in the last week neutralized 185 terrorists and members of armed gangs.
According to the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Nigeria Edward Buba, the operations were organized in different states of the country.
212 terrorists and members of armed gangs were captured, 71 hostages were released, Buba said. The military intercepted 113 weapons and a large batch of ammunition from criminals.
And in the Delta of the Niger River, located in the oil region in the south of the country, when trying to steal oil, 44 people managed to capture, the army spokesman said.
Recently, Nigeria has been attacked by armed gangs in different regions of the country, as well as the Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorist organizations, West African branch of the deaash.
