Nigeria: 39 militants “Boko Haram” liquidated

During the operations carried out against the Boko Haram terrorist organization in the northeast of Nigeria, 39 militants were eliminated over the past week. This was announced by the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Nigeria Edward Buba.

According to him, military operations against Boko Haram terrorists were carried out in the north-eastern states of Adamava and Borno.

During the operations, 34 people stolen by terrorists were saved, 159 militants were captured, a large number of ammunition were seized, Buba noted.

Contrary to the Anti -Terrorism operations, the Boko Haram organization is still a serious threat to security in the most densely populated country in Africa – Nigeria.

“Boko Haram” has been operating since the beginning of the 2000s.

Since 2009, over 20 thousand people have become victims of an extremist of the organization.

“Boko Haram” since 2015 has also made attacks on neighboring countries – Cameroon, Chad and Niger. In the area of ​​Lake Chad, at least two thousand people became victims of terrorists.

Due to terrorist attacks and clashes in Nigeria, hundreds of thousands were forced to leave their homes.
