Nigeria: At Least 150 People Went Missing As Result Of Crash Of Boat

In the Nigerian state of Niger, a boat sank, as a result of which at least 150 people went missing.

This was announced by the Director General of the Emergency Management Agency Niger (SEMA) Abdullahi Baba Arai.

According to him, in the evening of October 1, a boat turned over on board about 300 people returning from a religious event in the area of ​​the Mokva River.

Arahi noted that as a result of the incident, at least 150 people went missing, and currently searching and rescue work is continuing in the region.
