The army of Nigeria conducted an air operation in Sokoto, whose victims “mistakenly” became 10 civilians, many people were injured.
According to local media, the blow was inflicted on the alleged positions of the new Lakurawa terrorist group.
The head of local authorities, Stebabakar Muhammad Daftaran, described the incident as a tragic one. “When the bombs began to fall into the villages, people were at home. These were innocent and peaceful residents who had nothing to do with crimes,” he said.
Nigeria has long been facing threats from armed gangs and terrorist groups, such as Boko Haram and ISWAP, which act in various parts of the country.
