Nigerian teaches homeless children to circus art in Lagos

Nigerian Kiero Olalekan teaching homeless children to circular art in Lagos, the most densely populated city in the country, thereby gives them hope for the future.

Olalekan founded the circus troupe “God knows the best” (God Knows Best), which not only shows ideas, but also engages in agitation in support of needy children.

30-year-old Olalekan grew up on the streets in need, and devoted his life to assistance to children who are in a similar situation.

The man founded a circus troupe 9 years ago in Lagos, which not only shows funny performances, but also teaches children aged 10-15 years to various tricks.

In addition, it helps children get an education in schools.

In an interview with Anadol, Olalekan said that his parents died when he was very small. “I had to survive from an early age. I have experienced a lot of difficulties. Now, it is very painful for me to see homeless children. I am trying to provide them with all kinds of help,” he said.

According to him, the circus artists are also children who grew up on the streets. “These children are no longer homeless. They earn a living,” he said.
