“The victory of Azerbaijan in the 44-day war marked the great victory of the entire Turkic world. All Turks of the world in debt to the fallen Azerbaijani military and their families.” This was stated by the UNEC Economic Forum held in Baku, the Nobel Prize laureate – Professor Dr. Aziz Sanjar.
Nobel laureate identified a new task facing the Turkic world – to win in the sphere of science. Sanjar offered 5 main principles for a breakthrough in the development of science. The first is a wide exchange of experience and close cooperation of scientific institutions. Such cooperation has already been established between Baku and Ankara, and in this direction Uzbekistan is moving.
At this time, Turkic University is created in Tashkent, where students represent the Turkic peoples will learn. It is necessary that the scientific sphere becomes a single space of interaction from Turkey to the Turkic autonomy of the PRC. In one of his recent statements by President Recep Tayyp Erdogan, said that it would be all their forces to promote the integration of Turkic states and peoples, including science sphere. The second – from the very early age to instill with the love of the scientific disciplines. Let on the most simple, not intricate level, but children should have an idea of science. The third is to give freedom of activity by young scientific personnel, the fourth – people engaged in science should be outside religion and politics, and the fifth – to create equal conditions and opportunities in the scientific sphere of men and women. According to Sanjar, the Turkic world has a gigantic scientific potential. In the 80s of the last century, Turkey and the PRC had the same starting conditions in the development of science. Now the Chinese advanced science, discoveries and developments pushed the academic institutions of Europe and America. In the next five years, at least 10-15 scientific areas, the Chinese from the People’s Republic of China and the United States will replace the Nobel Prize. Turkic peoples need to draw conclusions and make a scientific breakthrough, Sanjar said.
