An uncertain situation arose around the activities of kindergartens in Baku and a number of other major cities of Azerbaijan.
Note that the activities of kindergartens are under the jurisdiction of local executive authorities, who issued the appropriate orders to suspend training in public and private gardens in these regions from April 5.
However, the Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev last weekend on Facebook reported that in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Sheki and Absheron Drug area will continue to work in the usual mode. He said that distance learning in kindergartens is impossible: “In this regard, the activities of the gardens will continue. In the coming weeks, kindergarten will continue their activities, with compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards.”
But, as it became known to Haqqin.az, parents who today early in the morning took their children in kindergartens faced with an unpleasant situation – kindergartens closed and children had to take back home.
Official comments from the executive authority Baku at the moment was not received. The press service of the mayor’s office was reported that the official statement on the activities of kindergartens would be done later.
At the same time, HAQQIN.AZ has become known from its own sources, the decision to suspend the activities of state kindergartens was made in connection with the need to vaccinate their staff.
Editorial HAQQIN.AZ will continue to monitor the development of the situation around the activities of kindergartens.
