Board of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan approved the norms of working time and the production calendar for 2023.
According to the Labor Code and the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan “On determining the days of the holidays of Novruz, Ramazan and Gurban for 2022” No. 438 dated December 9, 2022, the following days of 2023 are considered non -working in Azerbaijan:
January 1, the celebration of the New Year;
January 20 – day of popular grief;
March 8 – International Women’s Day;
20, 21, 22, 23, 24 – Novruz holiday;
21, April 22 – Ramazan holiday;
May 9 – Victory Day over fascism;
May 2, 3 – Ramazan holiday;
May 28 – Independence Day of Azerbaijan;
June 15 – day of national salvation;
June 26 – Azerbaijani Armed Forces Day;
28, July 29 – Hurban holiday;
November 8 – Victory Day;
November 9 – Day of the State Flag of Azerbaijan;
December 31 – The Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the World.
Given that in 2023 the weekend coincides with non -working holidays, January 3, 4, April 29, on May 29, at a five -day working week, January 3, May 29, at a six -day working week, are considered days off.
In a five -day working week in 2023, workers are 240 days (of which 7 workers are pre -holidays and before the day of popular grief), 109 non -working days (of which 4 coincide with non -working holidays), 19 holidays, but working days (4 working days (4 of which coincide with the weekend) and one day of popular grief.
