North Korea Defended Her Nuclear Status

Pyongyang condemned statements by foreign ministers of the United States, Japan and South Korea regarding DPRK denuclearization.

According to the Central Telegraph Agency (CST) DPRK, the sister of the North Korean leader Kim Yo Jeon criticized the calls of the United States, Japan and South Korea for denuclearization.

She noted that DPRK denuclearization is “nothing more than a dream that will never come true,” and Pyongyang will never give up his nuclear status.

The North Korean official indicated that the statements of the United States, Japan and South Korea regarding the “denuclearization of North Korea” were condemned in Pyongyan, and also called these calls “the most hostile act of the denial of the sovereignty of” the country.

“We are not worried about anyone’s denial or recognition, and we will never change our choice,” said Kim Yo Zhon.

The DPRK nuclear potential plays an important role in containing aggression and threats from the outside, as well as protecting the state sovereignty and security, ”she added.

It is worth noting that such a reaction from Pyongyang followed after the meeting of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Japanese Foreign Minister Ivay Takesi and Foreign Minister South Korea Cho Tae Yolya in Brussels last week.
