Norway closed almost all ports for Russian fishermen

Russian fishermen will be able to deliver fish in only three Norwegian ports, the rest will be closed for the entrance of fishing vessels from Russia. As the Ministry of Foreign Countries stated, the kingdom is insured by illegal transit of goods in the conditions of sanctions, Russian media write.

Now Russian ships can only go to Kirkenes, Tromso and Botsfjord. They will be checked by customs.

The Minister of Fisheries Bjornar Schiaran assured that he still considers it important to cooperate with Moscow. Despite the new restrictions, fishing vessels are still withdrawn from total prohibitions. The ports, where they are allowed to enter the fishing vessels, were previously the main points of fish delivery caught by Russian fishermen.
