The Norwegian government on February 7 will present to the parliament a detailed plan for the long -term support of Ukraine, reports Vvelop Land with reference to its own sources.
It is expected that in the framework of a program designed for 5 years, significant funds will be allocated to Ukraine in the amount of billions of Norwegian crowns. Moreover, in 2023, the total amount of assistance will be divided equally into military and civil support.
Norway also plans to highlight a grant to overcome the consequences of full -scale Russian aggression in the countries of the South, primarily for overcoming high electricity and food prices.
The specific amount of funds that are planned to be allocated within the framework of the program is not yet indicated, however, it is emphasized that Ukraine’s support will be exceptional in terms of size and duration.
It is expected that the approval of the program will help Norway to achieve the costs of expenses established by the government in 1% of GDP to help in 2023.
