Norway will allocate 1 billion kroons (about 92 million dollars) for humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, the press service of the Norwegian government reports.
The funds will be directed to assist the most vulnerable segments of the population, children, refugees and internally displaced persons who will include ensuring access to housing, food, water, education, healthcare and psychosocial support, as well as protection against sexual and gender violence.
Financing is highlighted as part of the Nansen support program for Ukraine.
Help will be distributed through existing programs for Ukraine created by the UN and Red Cross.
