The cities of Kharkov, Mariupol, Nikolaev, Chernigov and Odessa remain strategically important, the secretary of the National Security Council and Defense Council, Alexey Danilov, said.
In his Facebook Danilov writes that “in any direction Russian troops did not achieve strategic success.”
According to him, Kyiv, Kharkov, Mariupol, Nikolaev, Chernigov and Odessa remain strategically important. “The Plan of the Enemy is to take key cities in the environment, to exeve the Ukrainian armed forces, to create a situation of humanitarian catastrophe for civilians,” said Danilov.
Secretary of the National Council stated that the command of the Russian troops tolerates the main attention to the south of Ukraine, trying to deprive the country of exit to the Black and Azov Sea, which, in their opinion, will create conditions for the economic suppression of Ukrainian resistance.
Danilov stressed that from the Ukrainian side there is regrouping, replenishment of fresh reserve and the saturation of the Ukrainian army with the latest weapons.
