Numan Kurtulmush: Türkiye Is Ready To Contribute To Construction Of Free And Democratic Syria

The General Assembly of the Great National Assembly of Turkey has begun discussing the bill on the budget of the Central Government for 2025 and the bill on the final budget of the government for 2023.

The General Assembly gathered under the chairmanship of the speaker of the parliament Numan Kurtulmush.

In his speech, at the opening of the session, Kurtulmush touched the situation in Syria. Speaking about the overthrow of the Baas regime in Syria, he recalled that the people suffered from Syrian for many years and fought dictatorial rule.

According to him, a historical turning point came when the Syrian people led their country to the new realities: “Turkey carefully monitors events in Syria in terms of its national interests. We will try to fulfill our duties and contribute to the construction of free and the construction of free Democratic Syria, leaving all past suffering behind. “

The politician emphasized that the territorial integrity of Syria is one of the most important priorities in Turkey, the period of cooperation, unity and integration, and not separation and fragmentation, began in the Middle East.

The speaker noted that it is recommended that opposition groups that act with particular care to ensure the atmosphere of peace and tranquility, which will violate a certain imbalance, unity, solidarity, peace and tranquility.

Kurtulmush said that from now on, one of the most important priorities is to ensure peace and tranquility, and one of the other priorities for opposition groups is the advance of measures and actions that will increase the trust of the people: “Undoubtedly, one of the most important priorities for Turkey is to accelerate the process which will ensure the return of migrants whom we sheltered in our country for many years, worthy and safely. “

He added that Türkiye will fulfill its obligation to cooperate with the new Syrian government and ensure a safe and worthy return of refugees to Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan.
