The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan is working to improve the socio -living conditions of graduates of state children’s institutions – persons who have lost both parents and left without parental care, said the Chairman of the Board of the Agency of Social Services under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan Vugar Bekhbudov .
He noted that over the past two years of this category of persons have been provided about 300 apartments.
“Of course, this work continues, and this year we will continue our activities in accordance with the goals set before us. As one of the main directions of four social reform packages implemented over the past five years, a serious increase in payments has been ensured. The framework of the new program of social reforms, implemented from the beginning of this year and covering 1.9 million people, once again increased manuals and scholarships intended for vulnerable groups of the population.
At the same time, socially vulnerable groups of the population, persons in need of special care, the agency of social services under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan are provided by social services of rehabilitation orientation, ”Bekhbudov said.
