The number of victims of a large chain accident that occurred on December 21 in Brazil increased to 41 people.
According to Minas-Zhirace police, the tragedy occurred on the BR-116 highway in the Municipality of Theophilo-Ttoni. Currently, work is underway to identify the dead.
The cause of the accident was the broken granite block, which fell from a truck moving along the oncoming lane. The driver of the truck disappeared from the scene, and now he is sought out.
According to preliminary data, the vehicle was significantly overloaded, which became one of the causes of the incident.
