The number of deaths of landslides caused by spilling rains in the Brazilian state of Espirita Santa and the city of Rio de Janeiro increased to 27.
The authorities reported that 19 people became victims of floods and landing lands in Espirita Santa, 8 people in Rio de Janeiro.
About 7300 residents were forced to leave their homes, 6 thousand people are listed in the list of missing.
Brazilian President Luis Inasio Lula da Silva, in his statement for the press, said that he was in solidarity with the families of the dead. He promised to help all victims of the disaster.
Meteorological Service also said that heavy rains and storms will last for some time.
