The number of victims of strong rains, flooding the areas of NOO and Suza in the Ishikawa Prefecture in West Japan, increased to 9 people.
According to the state television of Japan NHK, as a result of floods and landslides caused by strong precipitation, 9 people were killed, another 8 are listed as missing.
The authorities report that many people were blocked in flooded areas, and work on their evacuation continues.
