Number Of People Who Died As Result Of Landslides In South Of India Increased To 358

The number of deaths of landslides caused by heavy rains in the Southern Indian staff of Kerala increased to 358, reports India Today.

According to local authorities, search and rescue work is still ongoing.

more than 200 people are included in the list of missing.

The Indian Army sent radars to the region to search for people who find themselves under the rubble.

The authorities previously stated that Kerala was faced with one of the worst natural disasters in history.

Army of India on August 1 reported that 1,500 military were deployed in the state.

more than 8,300 people affected by a natural disaster in the state were evacuated to the camps.

As a result of pouring rains on July 30, landslides occurred in Kerala, infrastructure and roads were seriously injured. 200 houses were destroyed in the affected village of Chooralmal.
