The number of killed floods caused by spilling rains in the Nigerian state of Dzhigava increased to 30.
The Nigerian Emergency Situations Agency (SEMA) reports with reference to the General Secretary General of Dzhigava Haruna Mayrig.
According to him, 4,699 houses were flooded due to floods, damage to 9,379 hectares of sowing fields was caused.
Press Secretary of the National Emergency Situations of Nigeria (NEMA) Ezekiel Manzo said that the heavy rains continued in 27 states of the country, the element affected 227,494 people.
In the Ministry of Water Resources, Nigeria previously warned of heavy rains and floods in some regions of the country.
